Why do narcissists destroy special days?

If you’ve lived or are living with a narcissist (partner, mother, father, brother…) you’ve already had the sad experience of them ruining your birthday, the holiday you’ve chosen to spend with them, or any other special moment, which is simply ruined mercilessly.

And how they look at you and don’t feel your pain – feeding off your pain – seeing you broken. There’s a victory inside them, a “special flavour” when they see you broken.

Please note that beings who gravitate towards the narcissistic spectrum are, as it were, possessed by the devil and evil is only what they know how to give to the world.

They are beings empty of noble emotions, so they look for naive, happy, successful, financially independent “souls” to suck up that energy. They are also known as energy vampires, who will try to steal your soul, leaving you in emotional and financial misery.

And if you come from a home where there have been various types of psychological abuse, you will be an easy target to dominate because you have traumas, you are vulnerable and emotionally needy, which are easy loopholes to penetrate and through the psychological phenomenon of cognitive dissociation (which all victims suffer from) they continue to perpetuate the abuse in a subtle and intermittent, but harmful and fatal way.

How narcissistic people are never satisfied if they’re not the centre of attention. When they feel they’re not the centre of attention, all hell breaks loose, ruining special dates for you. Which could be your birthday, your wedding date, your child’s first day at school, the holidays, whatever is important to you, it will simply destroy.

Some examples:

He disappears; he turns up late and doesn’t bring you a present; he gets into a big fight, and you’re exhausted and out of control and no longer able to enjoy anything; he agrees something with you and completely changes your mind.

Even on your wedding day, they can pull something on you that you can’t believe you’re being mocked or humiliated…
